Birding in NW Highlands, 4th week of June

Postby Vincent on Thu Jan 22, 2009 9:21 pm

Dear all,

I'll be staying here with family in the 4th week of June with a possible extension. I've searched for info on (good) birds in the vicinity on the internet, but haven't found much.

I've ordered Birds of Schotland and of course we'll visit Handa Island.

Anyone on here have some additional gen? Please post a reply or send me an e-mail at vincenthartAThotmail.com. Any help in finding good birds/birding sites, scenery, hikes and/or historical sites will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Looking forward to visiting your wonderful region,
Kind regards & take care,

Hi Vincent

Firstly welcome to the forum, may I apologise that you've had no replies. I have only just seen your post myself. I do not know the area you're visiting very well but the following link should be of help to you.

Any questions just post and I'll keep a look out for them.

Hi Dave,

No worries! I'll have a look at the link you provided.

If there's anyone you know on here more familiar in the area, please let them know about my query ;)

Thanks,

Vincent
